Big Green Tractor

So last spring Lawrence received a John Deere "power wheels" from a friend at Daddy's work and he LOVED it then, but didn't know how to drive it...he was just too young. This spring daddy got a John Deere tractor from his dad, so it was time for Lawrence to learn :-) Mommy and Lawrence worked on steering and pushing the gas peddle down for an hour and half. He is now driving around like crazy... a few accidents, ran into the house,the van, car, and swing set oops! But he is doing GREAT now! This boy loves to copy his daddy this is what happens!

First trip to the beach of 2010

On Saturday April 10 we made a trip out to Holland Beach...It was a little chilly and windy but we all had a good time especially Lawrence. We walked the pier, saw a beautiful sun set and played in the sand. Lawrence liked to quickly "sneak" away off the walk way and run into the sand :) By the second time doing this daddy decided that he would "sneak" up on Lawrence and tackle him. The boys had a good time getting sandy while Isabelle and I watched from the side. When Lawrence see's these picture's now he gets excited and says "water" with a big smile. I think that means we might be in for some fun summer activities at the beach. YAY!

Easter Fun

We didn't do too much for Easter this year(really same as last) Like any other Sunday we went to church, then visited Grandma Zandstra and had lunch with my parents. We did let Lawrence find two pretty big eggs that we hid in the toys. He like that a lot...but like the candy even more!

The Friday before I took the kids to the park to play because it was so incredibly beautiful out! We of course had to take just a few pictures there too...They loved playing on the swings with each other. We have really enjoyed the last couple of days being in the 70's and sunny! I am looking forward to this summer and spending LOTS of time outside. This year I will be able to keep up with Lawrence(because I'm not 8 1/2 months pregnant like last summer :) and Isabelle just LOVES to sit in her little car and watch Lawrence go.
